I have tried many host but found Arvixe fit for my needs.

I have had arvixe for 5 years they started out the best in the business now they ARE BY FAR THE WORST. All i can recommend to anyone or my customers is STAY FAR AWAY they have no tech support unless you want to wait an hour on hold just for them to say they cant figure it out and will message the person responsible. For example the servers have been down 75% of the time over the last 2 months causing our websites and email to go down.

Not all hosting companies are created equal. The features and functionality you will get varied widely from host to host.In the past, I have changed hosts many times because of problems, as we all know all hosting companies are not perfect!In the process I had several good as well as bad experiences and I've lost a lot of money too.Some web hosting companies have a poor support team. I have been with Arvixe for about a year now and I have not really had any major reason to regret. All my major technical queries has been resolved but it is important to say that my domain expired and I had issues with my bank renewing, I had thought the error from arvixe, the support from arvixe was so awesome and they even reactivated the domain for me and gave me time to sort issues with my bank, I will recommend them anyday.

I have tried a number of hosts over the years, and franklyhave not been that impressed with many of them.The last host I was with literally dropped out of existence leaving my website in a state of limbo-- the server was down and so was my hosts own website with their phones disconnected.Being stressed at this point and almost not wanting to continue, I stumbled across Arvixe.I can honestly say that I have been impressed with Arvixe thus-far. Their support actually does answer, and they seem knowledgeable and communicate well.There have been a few issues with slow server response, but a quick ring to support usually gets it sorted-out quickly.Over-all, I am glad to have found them.--Jim

I came across this hosting site around Jan this year when I decided to change my sites to .Net platform. Initially did have some teething problem and simple things like dowloading .exe file was an issue due to Mime settings on the server. I spent almost a week with the support people and at some stage I even lost hope as the chat team on support said they could not do this. Eventually it got resolved by one of their senior service team when I threatened to pull out.Since then I have no complaints with them. I believe their hosting platform and servers are great. They have great infrastructure, but very poor support team. If they can improvise their support team, I am sure they will be the best hosting site for the price they are offering.

I signed up with Arvixe several months ago.During the first few months, the host was great. Unlimited disk space, tons of bandwidth and features for $4-5 a month. Then over the last few months, the space on the disk began capping out. Certain times I couldn't access the server at all, and others, the server was up but I couldn't upload any files to it. I filed a ticket, the problem would get solved in a day or so, then the problem would re-occur several times before I'd file another ticket.The last time I talked to their tech support, I asked if any proactive steps could be put in place to distribute the load since they were obviously overselling their infrastructure. I was told that the problem couldn't be solved by those means (... yeah), and that the sysadmins would have to take a look.I was then told over the phone that I may have to upgrade to business class as those "servers are completely less loaded." The main thought process behind this on my side was "If you're overselling your infrastructure there, how do I know you won't eventually oversell at the higher tiers?" Plus, at this point, Customer Service would rather argue with me than try to fix the problem.Eventually I request a refund (I prepaid for 4 years), and 8 months in, I'm told they can't pro-rate me because I'm past the 60 day period... I then make it clear to Arvixe that they don't need to hold onto my money since they obviously have more customers they can handle, again, attempts to negotiate a pro-rated refund have gone unsuccessful.If you have small websites with mostly static content, and you need lots of bandwidth for next to nothing, Arvixe is your bag. If you're relatively tech-savvy and looking to host more in-depth technical solutions and websites, look elsewhere because Arvixe has shown me that they are not geared to handle it.http://forum.arvixe.com/smf/testimonials/disappointed-13629 is my testimonial and how they tried to handle the situation by arguing rather than solving the problem. I have also archived the post should they decide to delete it.Arvixe: You're a webhost, not a wireless carrier, so stop treating your customers like you are one. Stand by your brand. Come around the competition by offering a quality service, otherwise, you're just one in a million.

Hi Jimmy we are sorry that you had those issues with Arvixe. We do not oversell our services, as it is a shared server through there are other people that can affect the server. We do monitor for that and fix it as soon as we can. For your refund once you contacted our QA department we were able issue you a refund.
