Stephen is DNS Europe's cloud services director responsible for program management and strategic positioning of DNS Europe's offering within the rapidly evolving sphere of Private Cloud as a managed service.
He has driven DNS Europe's growth to become a leading European AppLogic cloud service and support provider with a key focus on Private Cloud deployment, management and support within the ISV market.
In previous roles with DNS Europe, Stephen has worked with managed service providers both in the UK and South Eastern Europe as a service strategy consultant and communications director.
Prior to joining DNS Europe, Stephen worked as general manager of a UK traditional hosting business and as CEO of a software development agency.
What we are seeing is a true distinction emerging between Cloud Services and the precursor SaaS Hosting model. With the former, particularly where Private Cloud Platforms are concerned, customers are now benefiting from more than simply an outsourced application hosting arrangement. What they now have access to is a full range of tools which allow them to design and deploy the precise virtualised infrastructure they require to support their applications, within an environment which is entirely under their own control.
