HostV was launched in 2007 as a new division of Cirtex Corp which was founded in early 2003. The staff behind HostV have been in the hosting industry for over 5 years. By combining their experience and knowledge they have in the hosting industry over the past years, HostV is now a leading provider in vps hosting and dedicated hosting solutions.

Server Info

We currently only use Quad Core and CPU Servers with HyperThreading Technology running Centos Linux with Virtuozzo installed as our Virtual Private Server nodes. All servers and virtual servers are monitored and kept up to date on latest softwares including cPanel/WHM, Fantastico and much more. Our VPS & Dedicated servers also come pre-installed and pre-configured with the necessary software both for the everyday users as well as developers such as Red5 & FFMpeg.

Network and DataCenter

The HostV Network operates out of two datacenters in the US located in New Jersey and Chicago. All datacenters provide the ideal physical environment to keep your servers up and running without any interruptions.

Our Primary Datacenter resides in Clifton, New Jersey, just 14 miles from New York City. Currently, the facility incorporates over 7,500 sq ft of completed raised floor data center space, along with 5000 sq ft of corporate office space which includes a front reception area, conference rooms, and ample space for our employees. Our datacenter is monitored 24/7/365 by an overlapping array of CCTV cameras and datacenter entry is secured by both biometric and card key access.

Our Secondary Datacenter resides in Chicago, Illinois inside the Chicago Board of Trading Building (CBOT). CBOT is a one of the worlds largest financial institutions and is fully redundant in its power supply and communications other amenities include elaborate security and surveillance systems.
