VPS: How To Overcome The SFTP User Per CPanel Limitation?

VPS: how to overcome the 1 SFTP user per cPanel limitation?             

I have a VPS and am beefing up security in every way possible. One way is to convert all FTP access to SFTP access on my server. However, I don't need (or want to have) to create a new cPanel for every website. I just need all FTP users to be using SFTP. Unfortunately, cPanel only allows one SFTP user (root) to have SFTP access to the server. I'm sure there's a way to overcome that limitation through WHM or the command line.

Probable Solution:

You went to FTP Server Configuration in WHM and set TLS Encryption Support to Required (Command) which, you believe, forces all FTP commands over TLS (Transport Layer Security) even though plain vanilla FTP is used. According to ProFTPd Server documentation "Requires TLS encryption on all commands that users issue to the FTP server. This setting hides passwords and usernames".

Any FTP users who are not the main cPanel account user are not able to have SFTP access due to the limitations of requiring a shell.
