BlackMesh CEO to Present at DrupalCon D.C.

WHAT:

BlackMesh CEO, Eric Mandel, will address two separate topics at DrupalCon D.C., the official Drupal unconference that attracts the most talented open source developers and innovative web shops in the world and brings them together to share knowledge and make decisions on the future of Drupal.  

Mandel will lead a panel of industry experts on an in-depth discussion of “Drupal Hosting Options”. The panel will review the crowded and convoluted world of Drupal hosting, address the pros and cons of current hosting options for Drupal - from shared to cloud to virtual to dedicated hosting - as well as discuss what options will be available in the future.

In addition to the panel, Eric Mandel will discuss “Optimizing the LAMP Stack for Drupal” in a standalone presentation at DrupalCon. Mandel will discuss Drupal code changes as well as address optimizations throughout the LAMP stack. The focus will be on the configuration of Drupal, PHP, the database and the web server. Attendees will learn new ways to optimize and scale their Drupal server by optimizing the entire LAMP stack, to be able to better locate bottle necks and identify resolutions.
