00:00:00 - 15 September 2004

September 15, 2004 - (HostReview.com) - TeleCity, the leading European provider of data centre and managed services, today announced a new contract with network operator TeliaSonera International Carrier, for the provision of managed data centre services in Paris.

"We are very satisfied with the services which TeleCity provides for us in its other European sites," said Mr Jean-Claude Geha, VP & Head of Networks at TeliaSonera International Carrier.  "It is a natural and logical development for us to strengthen our relationship by choosing TeleCity to host our infrastructure upgrade in France."
TeliaSonera International Carrier has contracted for a dedicated private suite from which it will offer customers direct access to its pan-European network and range of wholesale services. TeleCity is also providing an enhanced power supply, which will enable TeliaSonera to operate over 500 ‘blade' servers on behalf of its customers.

"This is a major new contract for both TeleCity France and our customers," said Michel Brignano, Country Manager for TeleCity France. "The agreement confirms our place as a major player in the French data centre market and also enables us to offer our customers access to TeliaSonera International Carrier's tier one international IP and Capacity network."

TeliaSonera International Carrier provides wholesale international IP, Capacity and Voice services to selected high volume destinations in Europe and across the Atlantic. Services are based on TeliaSonera International Carrier's wholly owned European and trans-Atlantic networks.

TeleCity is a leading European provider of colocation and data centre services. Through its network of carrier-neutral data centres, it provides colocation, IT infrastructure management and IT services to communication service providers, corporate enterprises and the public sector.
