Data Center Provider Equinix to Host Data Exchange Forum in New York

(Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced that it will host the ninth Gigabit Peering Forum, featuring networking experts from Adelphia Communications, Akamai, CAIDA, Cisco, New York City Connect and others, on September 14.

The event will be moderated by Jay Adelson, founder and chief technology officer of Equinix, and Bill Norton. In addition, Bill Norton, a recognized peering authority, will present and refine his white paper, "The Business Case for Peering."

The New York Forum is part of an ongoing series developed by Equinix that features educational sessions from experts on technical best practices as well as in-depth presentations focused on network and content peering methodologies and strategies.
