SmarterTools Releases New SmarterMail Mail Server, Provides Cost-Effective Alternative to Microsoft Exchange

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--SmarterTools Inc. is proud to announce the release of SmarterMail 6.x. The latest version of this highly acclaimed mail server software builds upon previous releases to simplify mailbox migration, enhance Microsoft Outlook and mobile synchronization, improve message archiving, and increase the efficiency of the software’s out-of-the-box spam protection.

A major component of SmarterMail 6.x is the ability to sync email, calendars, contacts, tasks and notes between mobile devices in real time using Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync. SmarterTools allows customers to add Exchange ActiveSync to only the mailboxes that need the technology, making adoption of the add-on easy and affordable for hosting/service providers, enterprises, and small to medium sized businesses (SMBs).
