Interxion Reports 2008 Results

09:46:58 - 28 April 2009

Interxion, a leading European provider of carrier-neutral data centres, today released its audited numbers for the year ended 31 December 2008.

Highlights:
• Revenue increased by 38% to €138.2 million (2007: €100.5 million)
• Adjusted EBITDA increased 67% to €48.3 million (2007: €29.0 million)
• Adjusted EBITDA margin increased to 34.9% (2007: 28.8%)
• Net profit margin increased to 27.1% (2007: 13.5%)

Interxion achieved significant top line growth and operational improvement in 2008, yielding expanded margins and dramatic growth in Adjusted EBITDA and net profit. This was led by strong customer demand across all of its geographies.

During 2008, the company continued its ongoing expansion programme, increasing the amount of equipped space in its data centres by approximately 7,900 m2. The investment choices were led by customer demand and equipped space was increased in Amsterdam, Brussels, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris and Vienna.

“We have a robust, broadly spread business, showing excellent levels of recurring revenue visibility, strong customer relationships, and good cash generation,” said David Ruberg, Interxion CEO. “We are well positioned to continue to build on our expansion plans and maintain profitable growth in 2009 and beyond.”
