GlobalWebBrands Re-Aligns into Three Business Units

14:22:54 - 27 December 2005

Company Focuses on Increased Operational Efficiency

International Internet company GlobalWebBrands (www.globalwebbrands.com) has moved its services into three distinct business units. These new units are named Web Hosting, Web Services, and Telecom, and will replace the current Consumer Services and Business Services units.

The Web Hosting division of GlobalWebBrands will hold iZoka (formerly GlobalWebBrands Web Hosting), ResellerHostingSolution, and the new SupremeWebServer budget-priced web hosting brand. The Web Services division will hold iZoka Search Marketing and the GlobalWebBrands Web Studio services. The Telecom unit of GlobalWebBrands will consist of the company’s LogonTelecom brand (previously known as ‘Monty‘), which serves as a clearinghouse for communications services such as voice-over-IP, toll-free phone services, and long-distance phone service.

“These changes were enacted because the current GlobalWebBrands business structure did not make much sense,” stated GlobalWebBrands’ Founder and Director Daniel J. Briere. “All of our services are suitable for the consumer or business spaces, so we had a bit of a problem. Our newly organized business units will allow us to more-efficiently meet the crucial needs of our clients as they implement Web-based technologies.”

As part of the new company structure, GlobalWebBrands is also in talks with several parties to divest its HostingIndustryForum, picmeister.com, and VstoreDirect.com websites, as well as its remaining domain name portfolio.

“Our goal is to offer better service in two-thousand-and-six, so some of our brands just had to go. It was no longer reasonable for us to maintain all of these services,” stated Mr. Briere. “Our new focus from this point forward will be on web hosting and domain name services, web design, search marketing, and communications.”
