Hushmail Teams with Comodo for SSL Certificates

Comodo Inc. (www.comodo.com) , a global leader in Identity and Trust Assurance Management solutions today announced it had secured an exclusive agreement to provide Hushmail; the worlds first secure web-based email service, with the PKI infrastructure needed to supply SSL certificates to its client base.

The agreement provides Hushmail with the immediate ability to sell their own branded SSL Certificates and to integrate the new certificate offering into their existing customer product portfolio.

Ben Cutler, CEO of Hush Communications said "by partnering with Comodo we were able to easily add the Comodo SSL certificate product range to our service portfolio, our customers will benefit by being able to fulfill a wider selection of their online security requirements from one vendor, achieving greater savings in the process".

James Langman, VP Business Development Comodo Inc., believes the agreement will help Hushmail clients cut costs and streamline operations;

Comodo were chosen because of their unique ability to provide the secure EPKI infrastructure within the Powered Partner program. The program allows companies to provide privately labeled 128-bit industry standard SSL Certificates and web identity products directly to end customers through their own branded interfaces.
