LOS ANGELES, October 5, 2005 -- Nine Systems, the leading provider of streaming media applications and content delivery solutions, has entered into an agreement with the National Association of Television Program Executives (NATPE) to be the exclusive streaming media provider for the association.

Stream OS, Nine Systems’ suite of rich media management tools, will manage and deliver exclusive NATPE related content to the Web including highlights of past NATPE conferences, panels, seminars and special events, as well as selected material from the 2006 NATPE Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas that can be viewed at www.natpe.org beginning at the end of October.  Additionally, Nine Systems will work with NATPE to offer a special package of services that will enable members to easily manage and deliver television content for on-demand viewing on the Internet.

As the industry’s leading rich media management toolset, Stream OS enables content owners and television producers to use drag-and-drop functionality to upload, organize and distribute television-related content on their Web through a variety of on-demand, subscription and pay-per-view based scenarios.

“Nine Systems is the leader in providing high-quality streaming media for content owners and entertainment companies and this partnership makes perfect sense,” commented Beth Braen, NATPE’s Senior Vice President of Marketing. “NATPE works very hard to increase our member services and this new resource will offer valuable material to conference attendees from around the world.”

NATPE conference-related content is delivered through Nine Systems’ Network of Networks that guarantees secure and reliable delivery of all types of rich media through the company’s native Content Delivery Network (CDN) and across other top-tier CDNs.

“Nine Systems is dedicated to supporting companies like NATPE who are on the forefront of educating their members on new ways of creating, developing and distributing televised programming,” said Troy Snyder, CEO, Nine Systems.  “Our solution for NATPE allows their members around the globe to have an exceptional experience when viewing its archived content of past conferences and selected content for NATPE 2006, by simply visiting the NATPE site.”
