Nine Systems First Content Delivery Network To Announce Support For Flash® 8

SAN DIEGO, Calif. – August 10, 2005 – Nine Systems, a major provider of streaming technology and content delivery services, has announced support for the newly launched Macromedia® Flash® 8, enabling content providers to deliver interactive and rich media content and applications through its content delivery network.

As part of the Nine Systems’ suite of rich media management and delivery tools, Stream OS for Flash video enables customers to upload, manage and present Flash video either live or on-demand.  Stream OS for Flash video is seamlessly integrated with the Stream OS application suite.  Customers can deploy Flash video quickly and simply with all the benefits of the drag-and-drop management toolset, including customized and detailed reporting.

The Stream OS for Flash video is delivered through Nine Systems’ Network of Networks that guarantees secure and reliable delivery of all types of rich media through the company’s native Content Delivery Network (CDN) and across other top-tier CDNs.
