Internap Expands Services into 9 AT&T DC's

Internap Network Services Corporation http://www.internap.com/, today announced that the company has completed the expansion into 9 AT&T http://www.att.com/ Internet Data Centers.

"Service providers are entering a new era, one in which customers will demand more performance from the Internet than ever before as demand for critical applications becomes widespread. We are proud to supply AT&T with a critical resource to serve the needs of these customers."

The company will now serve AT&T's Internet Data Centers (IDCs) in Atlanta, GA; Mesa, AZ; Allen, TX; Secaucus, NJ; New York, NY; Ashburn, VA; Lisle, IL; Los Angeles, CA and Lynnwood, WA. Under terms of an agreement announced last year, AT&T has partnered with Internap to provide multi-carrier functionality to help in meeting growing customer demands for high-availability, reliable and redundant IP connectivity services.

Through the Internap Private Network Access Points (P-NAPs) in these cities, AT&T will provide the Internap multi-carrier management capability to customers hosting critical applications such as VoIP, music downloads, video conferencing, stock trades, streaming audio/video, online gaming, e-commerce, remote connectivity and other business-critical applications requiring high-performance bandwidth, claims the company.
