WEBCC to extend Internet Services offerings to secondary domain name market and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) to its global network resellers and customers.

KUALA LUMPUR — April 18, 2005 — Web Commerce Communications Limited (WEBCC), a leading provider of business-to-business (B2B) outsourced registration services for domain names, today announced that it has formed a strategic partnership with Sedo.com (SEDO), an established worldwide leader in the domain name secondary market.

Sedo has assembled the world’s largest database of domain names for sale, with over 1.6 million listings and has a global membership base of over 200,000 domain professionals. Buyers and sellers are brought together through a searchable online marketplace, and conduct negotiations anonymously using an offer-counteroffer system.

Under the agreement, WEBCC will enhance its secondary domain names and PPC services to its network of reseller and customers across Asia Pacific through Sedo’s worldwide marketplace. This initiative will enable WEBCC to further value-add and empower its resellers and customers to generate additional revenue from the existing B2B outsourced registration services for domain names.

WEBCC is a leading regional ICANN Accredited Registrar with over 700 resellers in 30 countries and the first to offer these services in Asia.

“We are delighted to form a partnership with Sedo to further expand our services through this collaboration which will benefit our partners to list domain names in the world’s largest database of secondary domain name market. It is imperative for us to continuously deliver the best in services and solutions to our network of resellers and customers.”, said TK Tan, CEO of WEBCC.

Tim Schumacher, CEO of Sedo added: "WEBCC is one of the fastest growing registrars, and operating the largest reseller network among domain providers in Asia. We are glad to partner with WEBCC and we are confident that our partnership – together with WEBCC’ dba webNIC.cc brand, strong reputation and customer relationships, will accelerate the adoption of our domain selling, domain parking and domain acquisition in the Asian market. "

The latest report issued by VeriSign Inc. (NASDAQ:VRSN) shows strong new domain registration growth throughout 2004 continued in the fourth quarter with 6.4 million new domain names registered. This growth is driven by key factors including an increasing population of Internet users globally, an improving global economy and the continued importance of domain name registrations for use in the Pay-Per-Click (PPC) advertising market and the impact of increasing number of domain name auctions where users are able to bid for domain currently registered or that have not been renewed in the Internet industry.

According to a PricewaterhouseCoopers study conducted for the Interactive Advertising Bureau, U.S. revenues for the first six months were $4.6 billion (3.79 billion), compared with $3.3 billion for the same period in 2003. The Internet advertising revenues jumped 40 percent in the first half of this year is driven largely by the growing popularity of keyword ads tied to search results.
