17:01:12 - 08 April 2005

Mirror Image® Internet (www.mirror-image.com), a provider of content delivery solutions powered by a patented global network, today announced a partnership with On2 Technologies, a leading technology firm at the forefront of video compression.

Mirror Image currently serves billions of advertising impressions each month.  On2 Video codecs are licensed to companies including AOL, Viewpoint, Sony, XM Satellite Radio, Macromedia, the BBC and NTT East.

"Java has been a compelling playerless platform for delivering marketing messages using video on the Internet, but the core weakness of existing Java players have been poor video quality and low frame rates," said Douglas A. McIntyre, chairman, president and chief executive officer of On2.

Mirror Image's state-of-the-art, real-time monitoring and comprehensive reporting will be used in the system to supply advertisers and promotion firms with reports, administration and analytic information about their video advertising campaigns.

"The new Java video product will be a tremendous step forward for online advertisers," stated Bob Hammond, chief technology officer for Mirror Image.  "These companies can now add high-quality video to their content and still deliver it efficiently through a highly reliable distributed global network."

On2 Technologies is a leading technology firm at the forefront of video compression. The company revolutionized digital media delivery with the creation of its advanced full-motion, full-screen, On2 Video compression and streaming technologies.
