Keynote Taps New Executive VP of Worldwide Customer Operations

Keynote Systems (www.keynote.com) announced that Patrick Quirk, former general manager and group vice president at PeopleSoft, has been named executive vice president of worldwide customer operations.

In this newly created position, Quirk will assume global responsibility for sales and professional services, including Keynote's service level management (SLM) and customer experience management (CEM) consulting organizations, and will report to Umang Gupta, chairman and CEO.

Keynote also named Vik Chaudhary as vice president of marketing and corporate development, reporting to Mr. Gupta, which represents a promotion from his existing position as senior director, corporate development. Mr. Chaudhary's appointment becomes effective May 1.

"Patrick has tremendous experience, knowledge and leadership abilities building ‘customer intimate' organizations that can successfully conceive, sell and support technology solutions and professional services into the enterprise. I am very pleased to have him take on this very senior role within Keynote," said Gupta.

Patrick Quirk previously served as PeopleSoft's general manager and group vice president in charge of the company's supply chain management product and technology business and managed a 500-person development, marketing, support and product management team.

Vik Chaudhary has spent 16 years in general management, marketing and engineering positions at blue chip and start-up Silicon Valley companies.

Before joining Keynote, Mr. Chaudhary was CEO and founder of e-business measurements company Bizmetric, ran product management at database pioneer Gupta Technologies and led software engineering teams at Oracle.
