Digital River, Inc. (www.digitalriver.com), a provider in e-commerce outsourcing, today announced its plans to expand support for its SoftwarePassport™ technology beyond the Windows® operating systems to include the Java™, Linux® , Macintosh® and UNIX® operating systems.

To support SoftwarePassport's expanded capabilities, Digital River expects to integrate with SafeNet's Sentinel LM, a software-based license management technology. "Digital River is an established leader in e-commerce outsourcing with a robust delivery infrastructure that is well respected in the software industry," said Prakash Panjwani, SafeNet's vice president and general manager of the rights management business unit.

SafeNet is a global leader in information security.
