16:26:04 - 15 March 2005

Opsware Inc. (www.opsware.com), a provider of IT automation and utility computing software, today announced that Good Technology (www.good.com), a provider in wireless handheld computing software and service, selected Opsware to manage its application infrastructure.

Good Technology will leverage Opsware automation to manage the lifecycle of critical applications and their underlying components, including servers, network devices and software.

The company's GoodLink and GoodAccess products are combined enterprise software and service that run on a variety of devices and networks, freeing customers from vendor lock-in, and allowing maximum flexibility.

With customers depending on these systems, Good requires a solution that can seamlessly scale across their entire environment. Opsware will serve as the global solution for customer facing applications, running across hundreds of servers and network devices.

"We conducted a highly thorough evaluation of several products and Opsware was the only IT automation solution that could rapidly and effectively scale to meet our needs across servers, network devices and applications," said Danny Shader, president and CEO of Good Technology.

"Forward thinking enterprises such as Good are choosing Opsware to streamline management of their applications across their entire underlying infrastructure," said Ben Horowitz, president and CEO of Opsware Inc.

Good Technology is the leader in wireless handheld computing software and service, using industry standards to provide the corporate applications enterprises need on the handhelds they choose over the networks they prefer.
