NYC Connect Names Joseph C. Kiaer V.P. Business Development

Privately held NYC Connect LLC (www.nyc-connect.com) has appointed Joseph C. Kiaer, 39, to Vice President of Sales and Business Development.

Mr. Kiaer brings with him over 15 years of extensive technology and IP experience - most recently at Band-X, where he played a pivotal role in the sale of that firm to Arbinet.

"I am very excited to be joining the NYC Connect team," said Mr.Kiaer. "NYC Connect is a fast growing company that combines a solid financial base and very strong product offering with an experienced management team."

Mr. Kiaer will focus on NYC Connect's two core growth areas: 1) expansion of Carriers and connectivity in the Meet Me Room and 2) expansion of Enterprise data centers. These moves will allow NYC Connect to continue its growth within 111 Eighth Avenue, one of the premier telecommunications and technology facilities in the world.

Mr. Kaier studied Business Management at Old Westbury University and lives in Glen Cove, N.Y. with his wife and three sons.
