Sun to Showcase Innovation at Worldwide Industry Conferences

Next week Sun Microsystems, Inc. (www.sun.com) will provide new industry vision, leadership and solutions for several core market sectors expected to power the next wave of global IT infrastructure growth.

At RSA Conference, 3GSM World Congress, LinuxWorld, Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the Worldwide Education and Research Conference (WWERC), Sun will continue to advance the secure, open-standards based service infrastructures that will raise the market standard for enterprise companies, governments, wireless carriers and educational organizations.

Bolstered by the recent unveiling of its new Sun Grid utility offerings, and a comprehensive set of new services and solutions supporting industry and regulatory compliance, Sun will storm into Boston, San Francisco, Dallas and Cannes, France, showcasing openness, interoperability, security and innovation.

At the RSA Conference, Sun will highlight how its solutions make customers' businesses more secure, efficient, and readily compliant. Sun will announcements new solutions that support secure systems, secure identities and secure applications and help customers meet objectives for both business flexibility and robust security controls. Sun Executive Vice President of Software, John Loiacono will keynote on Thursday, February 17. Sara Gates, vice president of identity management will present innovative identity and access management solutions on Friday, February 18.

At 3GSM, Sun will showcase real-world examples of how carriers, developers and handset manufacturers are using Java technology and Identity management to securely monetize 3G services.

Demonstrations of inventive and profitable mobile data servicesùranging from interactive TV, live TV, SMS-based mobile payments and retail storefrontsùwill be on display at Sun's booth.

Sun's Chairman and CEO Scott McNealy will be the opening keynote speaker on Monday, February 14th at the HIMSS Conference & Exhibition in Dallas, Texas.
