Contributions to Tsunami Relief Efforts to More Than $1.5 Million

January 28, 2005 - (HostReview) - Computer Associates International, Inc. (NYSE: CA) today announced that, thanks to the generosity of its worldwide workforce, support of tsunami relief efforts by the company and its employees has reached $1,535,000.  CA's employees have donated $445,000 to charities providing assistance in the affected regions.  In keeping with its policy of matching employee donations by 200%, CA has donated an additional $890,000 to those charities.  The company previously announced a $200,000 donation to UNICEF in the days immediately following the December 26th disaster.

"The outpouring of support has been overwhelming and continues to grow," said Lisa-Beth Platania, CA's director of community relations.  "Our employees have responded in unprecedented numbers not only to assist immediate relief efforts, but to address the long term problems brought about by this devastation."
