SWsoft Expands Hosting Automation to Asia Pacific

13:02:32 - 20 January 2005

SWsoft (www.sw-soft.com), a provider in hosting automation and server virtualization software, announced continued growth and presence in the Asia Pacific Web hosting marketplace.

"SWsoft has grown more than 150 percent in 2004 and at an even faster rate in the region by extending our commitment to bringing world-class automation and virtualization solutions to a rapidly expanding Asia Pacific hosting market," said Serguei Beloussov, CEO, SWsoft.

According to a recent report from analyst firm IDC (www.idc.com), Web hosting spending alone will increase from $521 million in 2004 to $924 million by 2008 in the Asia Pacific region, excluding Japan.

IDC states that the key to the growth of the market is the returning focus on developing a model for e-business requiring hosting vendors to show an ability to scale with customer requirements, especially as larger service providers move increasingly toward the small and medium-sized business market.

"There is tremendous opportunity for our current and future partners and customers in the region and we're looking to expand our presence," said Soeren von Varchmin, Managing Director, Europe and Asia Operations.

The company announced 18 new major customers from China, Japan, Australia, Malaysia, and Singapore who have recently purchased its Plesk, SiteBuilder, Virtuozzo, HSPcomplete and PEM hosting solutions.

SWsoft provides the only complete set of hosting automation products that effectively support virtually every type of hosting service offering, on every major platform and in every major language.

The company's Plesk, SiteBuilder, Virtuozzo, HSPcomplete and PEM products enable the most feature rich, reliable and integrated solutions for service providers' control panel, site building, automation and virtualization needs.
