Data Storage Provider SecureSpeed Names VP, Sales and Marketing

Terán was promoted from Director of Sales for SecureSpeed LLC due to his abilities and dedication to the company.

Terán has a proven track record. He has held positions in sales, management and marketing with science companies like Amersham, Whatman and Thermo Electron. He was awarded top Sales Rep in 1987, 1989, 1992, and 1993. He achieved Sales goal growth for his region in 1994, 1995, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2002.

Terán has a bachelor's degree in Chemistry and has completed the NCSU certification process in A+, MCP, Network+, Security+ and CCNA.

Outside of the business Terán has been a volunteer with YMCA's Big Brother Big Sister program since 1999. He also volunteers as a soccer coach in CASL (Capital Area Soccer League).
