eNeighborhoodsTeams with TelCove for Data Center

12:13:14 - 16 December 2004

TelCove (www.telcove.com), a provider of business critical telecommunications services to enterprise customers and carriers, announced that it will be providing collocation of a data center and other telecommunications services for Siegent's eNeighborhoods, Inc. This will enable eNeighborhoods to develop its own business continuity/disaster recovery program.

Siegent's eNeighborhoods, headquartered in Boca Raton, FL, provides real estate professionals with web-accessible e-marketing tools to present their clients with current, localized information about property, neighborhoods, and schools. Reliability of its communications services is vital to the company's daily operations.

Top consideration was given to the consolidation of eNeighborhoods' data center to a more secure facility for business continuity/disaster recovery purposes.

After touring TelCove's South Florida Central Office, eNeighborhoods' management was impressed with its "bunker-style", Hurricane Category 5 construction, an important consideration in light of the recent extreme weather in Florida.

"In light of recent & potential acquisitions, we felt we needed to make a move to both secure and expand our capabilities with regard to our data center," said Liam Dayan, director of information technology for eNeighborhoods, Inc.

Also included in eNeighborhoods' decision to collocate its data center within the Ft. Lauderdale, FL, facility was TelCove's record of reliability when communications are transported directly over its pervasive network infrastructure. eNeighborhoods wanted a single carrier that could serve all of its communications needs while offering 100% uptime of services.

TelCove is also providing communications services between eNeighborhoods' corporate headquarters in Boca Raton and its new data center collocation in TelCove's central office.

"Our customers are increasingly planning for continuity of their business in the face of possible disruption," said David Sutherland, general manager for TelCove.
