Oracle Launches New Real-Time Collaboration Suite

Oracle today announced its Oracle(r) Collaboration Suite 10g with new real-time collaboration tools and enterprise content management capabilities. Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g is the first collaboration software and content management created for all users, all applications and all information in an enterprise.

Oracle Collaboration Suite 10g provides the industry's most technically advanced suite of collaboration services. It is designed from the ground up to enable contextual collaboration and to deliver the right information to the right people at the right time and in the context of their current activity.

The global market for content and collaborative solutions is expected to grow rapidly. As organizations increasingly rely on collaboration technologies -- email, calendaring, instant messaging, Web conferencing and content management - it is expected that traditional stand-alone collaboration applications will become obsolete. Collaboration infrastructure will become part of the core data center, accessible to all users, increasing productivity and driving efficiencies.
