14:06:54 - 07 December 2004

Websense, Inc. (www.websense.com), a provider of employee internet management solutions, today announced that Infonet Services Corporation (www.infonet.com), a provider of global communications services for multinationals, is integrating Websense Enterprise® web filtering and web security functionality into its Managed Security Services.

"The risk of unmanaged Internet usage in the workplace is a growing concern for our clients," said Martin Dipper, vice president of Security Services, Infonet.

Infonet owns and operates The World Network®, a global data network that services the communications needs of more than 2,600 multinational organizations in more than 180 countries and territories.

By adding Websense Enterprise web filtering and web security to its portfolio of Managed Security Services offerings, Infonet is enabling multinational enterprises to manage employee use of the internet - a capability that promotes productivity while limiting corporate security risks and legal liability.

Websense automates an organization's internet use policy with highly flexible options that enable employees to reap the benefits of the web as a tool for work-related activities, while safeguarding against access to potentially harmful or inappropriate sites.

"Websense Enterprise provides an additional layer of security for vulnerability management of blended internet threats," said Curt Staker, president of Websense, Inc.

Websense leverages a highly sophisticated database of more than 80 website categories, enabling organizations to set patented flexible filtering options such as time-based quotas, in which organizations set time limits for employee access to non-business-related websites such as banking and shopping.
