SWsoft Launches Virtuozzo for Windows Beta

16:15:26 - 22 November 2004

SWsoft (www.sw-soft.com) announced the availability of Virtuozzo for Windows Beta, a unique server virtualization solution that creates multiple isolated Virtual Private Servers (VPSs) on a single physical server to share hardware, software licenses and management with maximum possible efficiency.

"Enterprises and service providers who use Virtuozzo for Windows will benefit not only from clear cost savings but also from increased reliability and flexibility," Kurt Daniel, director of marketing.

The Release Candidate (RC1) for Virtuozzo for Windows will be available in December, 2004 with the final release due in early 2005.

"Consolidating server infrastructure and dynamically provisioning virtual learning environments is a key element of the Hatsize's TrueLab(tm) technology and delivering world-class distance learning capabilities is a top priority when investigating server virtualization options," said Dean Hardy, President, Hatsize Learning Corporation.

"Our approach brings to market a unique architecture that maximizes server resources because each VPS resides on a common shared OS with near-zero overhead," said Serguei Beloussov, CEO, SWsoft.

Virtuozzo empowers enterprises and service providers to keep up with the increasing demands on IT infrastructure and management by providing the most scalable Windows 2003 virtualization solution available including support for up to 16 CPUs and 64 GB of memory.
