Grant Thornton Picks XO for Network Solutions

XO Communications, Inc. (www.xo.com) today announced that it has entered into a three-year agreement worth approximately $3 million with Grant Thornton (www.GrantThornton.com). Under the terms of the agreement, XO is providing a voice and data networking solution that has replaced the network previously provided by Grant Thornton's former telecommunications services provider.

XO has deployed a data networking solution connecting Grant Thornton's corporate headquarters and more than 45 offices across the U.S. XO is also providing long distance voice services for all of Grant Thornton's office locations as well as local voice services in select markets.

By migrating from its legacy frame relay network to XO's private data networking solution, Grant Thornton will be able to significantly reduce costs while increasing the bandwidth capabilities and reliability of its data network.
