Web Hosting Provider Interland Ranked 12th Fastest in North America

Interland (www.interland), a provider of online services and Web hosting for small and medium-sized businesses, today announced that it ranked Number 12 on the 2004 Deloitte Technology Fast 500, a ranking of the 500 fastest growing technology companies in North America.

"Growing the top line enough to make the Deloitte Technology Fast 500 is especially meaningful during tough economic times for the technology sector," said Mark A. Evans, national managing partner of Deloitte's Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group.

Rankings are based on percentage revenue growth over five years, from 1999-2003. Interland grew 22,882 percent during this period which also made Interland the fastest growing technology company in the shared and managed hosting industry and in the Southeast.

Overall, companies that ranked on the 2004 Technology Fast 500 had growth rates ranging from 329 to 437,115 percent over five years, with an average growth of 4,109 percent.

"We are pleased to be recognized for how far we have come in the past five year, but our focus is on what we can do for our customers during the next five years," said Joel Kocher, chairman and CEO of Interland.

The Fast 500 list is compiled from Deloitte's 19 regional North American Fast 50 programs, nominations submitted directly to the Fast 500, and public company database research.

In addition to capturing a top spot on the 2004 Technology Fast 500 list, CEO Joel Kocher has again been placed on the Atlanta Business Chronicle's prestigious "Who's Who in Technology" list.
