IntelliSpace Launches Ethernet Service

New York based IntelliSpace announced today the expansion of its EtherConnect Service. IntelliSpace offers customers the opportunity to extend the benefits of Virtual Local Area Networking (VLAN Layer 2) across state and international (Trans Atlantic) boundaries via the new service.

IntelliSpace's new service combines high-speed broadband access with data line interconnections over its highly resilient national and international backbone network.

"Pricing for the service is based on distance and bandwidth required, Shaw said. "No local loop or CPE equipment is required when client locations are in buildings currently served by IntelliSpace."

According to Charles Shaw, IntelliSpace CEO: "EtherConnect is our answer to customer demand for real time interconnectivity and centralized file sharing between multiple and often remote locations.

IntelliSpace offers its EtherConnect service in a variety of network configurations connecting locations on net to on net, on net to off net, and with or without Internet Access.
