Ensim Launches Ensim Pro 4.0 for Windows Web Hosting

12:22:46 - 16 November 2004

Ensim announces immediate availability of Ensim Pro 4.0 for Windows, the next major release of Ensim's flagship hosting automation product.

Ensim Pro 4.0 for Windows was built natively on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and is the fourth generation hosting automation solution for the Microsoft Windows platform; it adheres closely to the guidelines in Microsoft's Solution for Windows-based Hosting.

"Ensim continues to build on a solid reputation as the global leader in the hosting automation software market," says Shay Mowlem, vice president of marketing and alliances at Ensim.

This newest version of Ensim Pro for Windows comes pre-installed with the Microsoft .NET Framework, and has built-in support for a variety of core Microsoft products and technologies, including Internet Information Services 6.0, Windows Server 2003 FTP Service, Microsoft Domain Name Service (DNS) server, Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000) and FrontPage Server Extensions.

The redesigned user interface in Ensim Pro 4.0 for Windows was developed as a result of extensive interaction with customers, resellers and site owners. The result is a compelling new interface that limits the number of required clicks to accomplish key tasks, and provides one-click access to the most commonly used operations and information.

Ensim Pro 4.0 for Windows, with its extensible framework, provides integration to Ensim Power Tools and Ensim Ignite, a suite of productivity tools that can easily be deployed by service providers. Ensim Power Tools offers a portfolio of applications and services such as blogging, bulletin board and photo album management.

Ensim Ignite provides value-added services for site owners, including payment systems, email marketing, and search engine optimization. With these pre-bundled applications and services, Ensim Pro 4.0 for Windows provides an unprecedented way for service providers to offer rich hosting plans to their customers and add new applications and services in the future.
