16:39:40 - 05 November 2004

Dr. Rajiv Mirani, who is an expert in the field of application security, compilers and programming languages will present at Next Generation Networks Conference 2004. He has developed several patented and patent-pending technologies.

This approach defeats zero-day attacks not detected by network firewalls, intrusion prevention systems (IPS) and other signature-based security products. Prior to founding Teros, Dr. Mirani was the chief architect and technical lead for Hewlett Packard's language tools for enterprise systems. He also developed HP's patented technology for debugging optimized code.

Mirani will participate in a panel session on application protection. He will explain three different approaches for deploying application security - in the application code, on web servers, and in the network. He will also discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each architecture.

Teros (www.teros.com) is provider in application security. The company's mission is to guarantee the availability, integrity and performance of Web and Web Services-enabled applications by defeating all known and unknown application attacks and accelerating application performance.
