Informatica and HP Team Up for Healthcare Data Integration Platform

Informatica Corporation (www.informatica.com) and HP (www.hp.com) announced that American Healthways (NASDAQ: AMHC) has successfully paired the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform with HP Integrity servers to help improve outcomes for patients and reduce health care costs.

The leading U.S. provider of disease-management and high-risk health management services, American Healthways has experienced a four-year compounded annual growth rate in revenues of 48 percent, accompanied by exponential growth in the amount of data to be integrated and analyzed.

Currently with more than 1.3 million individuals under management, American Healthways uses Informatica's PowerCenter and Intel Itanium® 2-based HP Integrity servers to consolidate massive volumes of claims, clinical and pharmacy data.
