Inflow Managed Services Division Achieves SAS-70

00:00:00 - 26 October 2004

IT outsourcing services provider Inflow Inc. (www.inflow.com) announced its new managed services division at Inflow-Charlotte (formerly i-bridge) has successfully achieved SAS 70 Type II certification. The SAS 70 audit was conducted by a nationally recognized CPA firm.

"This is a distinction that we are very proud of, as we've worked diligently to prepare for and undergo the auditing process," said Greg Hoogerland, Inflow's director of managed services delivery.

The Statement of Auditing Standards No. 70 (SAS 70) certification is an international standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

"Inflow is extremely process-oriented as a company as validated already by our ISO 9001:2000 certification, which only one percent of U.S. businesses possess," said Art Zeile, CEO for Inflow Inc.

Inflow-Charlotte pursued SAS 70 Type II certification, the highest level SAS 70 validation, in response to customer demand. Having SAS 70 certification is a key requirement for customers to meet certain mandatory regulations such as Sarbanes-Oxley.

These regulations require credible proof that a managed security services provider has processes and controls in place to provide a stable and secure environment to safely monitor and manage customer data.

Inflow-Charlotte completed the SAS 70 audit and received its certification in just over nine weeks.

Inflow's managed services division at Inflow-Charlotte targets mid- to large-market companies that need critical business application management as well as high availability infrastructure and process specialization.
