NetEx to Showcase Data Transport Solutions

00:00:00 - 25 October 2004

NetEx (www.netex.com) seems to unveil soon a new architecture for IP storage applications that eliminates the need for expensive and complex networking equipment while solving throughput issues often associated with business-class WAN connections.

"Many companies use existing data transport protocols, such as TCP/IP, because they are unaware of technology advances that excel beyond antiquated and inefficient technologies," said Robert MacIntyre, Vice

President Business Development and Marketing at NetEx.
NetEx will showcase this technology at Storage Networking World Fall 2004 at the JW Marriott Grande Lakes Resort in Orlando, Florida October 25-28, in booth C37.

NetEx's new remote IP storage application architecture uses the company's unique IP acceleration technology, a simple appliance-based configuration that easily attaches to an existing network infrastructure and requires no changes to servers/storage controllers, applications and/or network devices.

Formed in 1999 as a spin-off of Storage Technology Corporation, privately-held NetEx has provided the world's fastest data transport in the industry
In addition to unveiling its latest storage application architecture, NetEx will also be promoting its line of data transport solutions which deliver unmatched performance, application support and data integrity for WAN-based IP data transfers.

No other IP solution offers comparable application acceleration and bandwidth conservation with the highest end-to-end throughput.

SNW (www.snwusa.com), an educational conference co-owned by Computerworld and the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA), is the foremost educational forum for IT managers and professionals involved in enterprise infrastructure, data management and security, business continuity and emerging storage technologies.
