PeopleSoft Partners With Quest Software As Technology Partner

Quest Software, Inc. (www.quest.com) announced an extended global development partnership with PeopleSoft, Inc. Quest Software has been named a preferred vendor for lifecycle management solutions.

"Quest Software is the first tools and technology partner to provide customers with a solution that when integrated with PeopleSoft applications better manages PeopleSoft environments," said Roy Satterthwaite, vice president of marketing, Tools and Technology, PeopleSoft.

Foglight® solution for PeopleSoft® Enterprise environments will be the first enterprise application management solution to provide PeopleSoft customers with increased visibility into performance across the application lifecycle.

This expanded partnership signifies Quest‘s commitment to application lifecycle management - meeting customers' growing management needs across the entire application lifecycle, from development and test to production.

Quest will deliver tight integration points, additional functionality and transparent access from the PeopleSoft user interface to Quest Foglight to simplify enterprise application management.

Foglight complements the information collected and presented by the PeopleSoft Performance Monitor by providing a complete picture of a PeopleSoft application including the Web server, application server, database, process scheduler, network and the operating system in a single view.

It proactively alerts the PeopleSoft administrator of any performance degradation that may impact end user business transactions while presenting aggregated Performance Monitor response time metrics to identify potential performance issues.
