Speedera Networks (www.speedera.com) announced that for the second consecutive year it has been recognized as one of the "Top Ten" most rapidly growing private companies in Silicon Valley as ranked by the San Jose Business Journal and by PricewaterhouseCoopers, which verified the financial data for all participating companies.

"Several factors contributed to our upward trajectory and financial momentum," said Ajit Gupta, president and CEO of Speedera Networks.
Speedera, which has been profitable since 2003, posted record results for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2004. Revenues for privately held Speedera rose by nearly 60 percent from the previous fiscal year, and far exceeded the growth rate of its industry. Company officials tied Speedera's successful performance to its focused and relentless execution of the firm's business strategy.

"To receive this recognition for the second year in a row is a testament to the loyalty of our more than 300 customers and to the outstanding drive of Speedera employees to make our company a world-class organization," Gupta added.

Speedera's market share continues to increase, according to Gupta, who cited the most recent quarter, ended Sept 30, as the best ever in the company's five-year history.

The company also forged major channel partnerships in Europe, Japan, India and the United States. As a result of these combined efforts, Speedera succeeded in increasing its customer count by nearly one third.

Speedera Networks, Inc. is a leading global provider of distributed application hosting and content delivery services. The company's SpeedSuite family of services provides on-demand services that cost-effectively solve the performance, scalability, availability and security problems of distributed applications and Web sites.
