Hostwinds.com is not only the most affordable web host out there , but their uptime has been great, and I'd say it has been over 99%, and my site hasn't gone down in months. I can only hope that Hostwinds won’t change their high level services, but to continue to increase their quality.

Server uptime is something that I never believe because some companies state 100% uptime. Honestly from my experience 100% uptime is impossible because they need to take the server down for software updates and that sort of stuff. Hostwinds offer 99.9% uptime and so far I haven’t seen any so this is a very good sign.
