NGASI introduces Cloud version of AppServer Manager

July, 2008 -- Application server management software developer NGASI (http://www.ngasi.com) announced it has introduced it's hosted version of NGASI AppServer Manager on Amazon EC2.

The "No installation required" service, provides an option for Amazon EC2 users, to not have to install their own version of NGASI AppServer Manager to manage application servers.

With this introduction, FREE developer accounts are now being offered to the Amazon EC2 community, by just registering at the website (http://www.ngasi.com).

 

For those not familiar with NGASI AppServer Manager, here is a summary of what it does and the features.

-Automates Application server management via an AJAX based Web Interface, command-line script, JAVA API, and Web Services.

-Automates the installation of Application Servers and the Applications on a single server machine, across multiple virtual servers, and across multiple physical servers.

-Automates Application Server Load Balancing configuration and management.

-Supported Application Servers include Tomcat, JBoss, Glassfish, Jetty, and Oracle-OC4J.

 

For IT Managers, NGASI AppServer Manager enables central management of application server assets and resources spread across the enterprise. And for Service Providers, it facilitates SaaS-Enabled or Cloud-computing based JAVA Hosting.
