Managed Hosting and Managed Services Provider on Pace for Sixth Consecutive Year of Revenue and Customer Growth

HERNDON, Va., -- September 15, 2008 – BlackMesh, Inc., a provider of information technology solutions for small and mid-sized businesses, today announced that it is exceeding its growth projections for 2008, increasing revenues by 33 percent in the first half of the year, when compared to the first half of 2007. As more organizations continue to leverage BlackMesh’s managed hosting and managed services solutions, the company is on pace for its sixth consecutive year of both customer and revenue growth.

“By providing around-the-clock, unlimited support that caters to our clients’ current needs and future growth, we have been able to uniquely position ourselves in the managed hosting and managed services industry,” said Eric Mandel, CEO of BlackMesh. “As a small business itself, BlackMesh understands the difficulty SMBs face when balancing their day-to-day operations with its business objectives. By allowing our customers to focus on their business development rather than their IT management, we are not only fueling our growth, but our customers’ as well.”

On the heels of its expansion within Equinix’s Ashburn, Va. Data Center, BlackMesh has increased its customer base by 20 percent, including nationally recognized customers such as CommonPlaces, a developer of e-business solutions that selected BlackMesh to host its key customer Web sites, including Greenopolis.com, an educational and collaborative “green” social networking Web site. In addition, several clients increased their footprint within BlackMesh, including Phase2 Technology, which added five new servers to support customer growth, demand for online publishing tools, multi-site CMS implementations, Drupal and community portals running on the LAMP stack.

Highlighting BlackMesh’s growth in the Washington, D.C. region, the company was nominated for the Northern Virginia Technology Council’s Hot Ticket Awards in the Hottest Bootstrap category, recognizing organizations that have done the most with the least. In addition, BlackMesh grew its partner program, introducing partnerships with R1Soft and Kemp Technologies. BlackMesh leverages R1Soft for its data protection solutions and to keep BlackMesh’s customer information safe. The company also deployed Kemp’s easy-to-use load balancer technology to lower costs to BlackMesh customers, while simultaneously making support requests easier to manage.
