Oracle Applications Users Group Announces Oracle’s Key Role At COLLABORATE 15

04:41:25 - 01 April 2015

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Oracle Applications Users Group (OAUG), an organization providing the world’s largest user knowledgebase for Oracle Applications users, has announced Oracle’s prominent role at COLLABORATE 15: Technology and Applications Forum for the Oracle Community, which runs April 12 – 16 at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

Oracle CEO Mark Hurd and Oracle Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer Mark Sunday are confirmed as keynote speakers for the users groups’ flagship conference.

On Tuesday, Sunday discusses the need to keep a leadership edge in digital transformation, with a special focus on IT leadership in the cloud. Sunday will build upon his keynote from two years ago, giving attendees better insight into adopting a sound cloud strategy in order to ensure greater success.

On Wednesday, Hurd shares his insights on how Oracle continues to drive innovation and protect customer investments with applications and technology. Oracle remains the leading organization in the cloud, and Hurd’s discussion focuses on how to modernize businesses in order to thrive in this space.

In addition to this year’s impressive speakers, Oracle hosts 12 “Meet the Oracle Experts Sessions” where Oracle representatives discuss topics such as E-Business Suite Technology Stack, Extensions for Oracle Endeca, Procurement, Financials, Manufacturing and Project Portfolio Management among others. These sessions are highly interactive and seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

New this year, the My Oracle Support Accreditation Learning Series gives attendees the opportunity to accelerate their knowledge of Oracle products and Support framework and take the accreditation test(s) for key product areas.

Additionally, the Oracle User Experience Usability Lab, Oracle Product Roadmap Sessions, Oracle Proactive Support Sessions and the Oracle DEMOgrounds in the Exhibitor Showcase provide venues for conference attendees to interact face-to-face with Oracle employees to learn about new resources, products, functionality and strategies.

“COLLABORATE 15 will provide an unparalleled opportunity for attendees to learn and network with each other, but also to meet with Oracle executives, product leaders, support engineers and developers,” said Melissa English, president of the OAUG. “The OAUG was formed 25 years ago to connect Oracle customers with the purpose of communicating collective experiences with each other and with Oracle, and we are thrilled that Oracle continues to remain such an active partner throughout our 25 years.”
