HOUSTON (February 3, 2009)— Helix Development, a provider of shared Linux hosting, managed VPS and dedicated server solutions, joined the R1Soft Hosting Partner Program (R1HPP) after the recent addition of R1Soft Continuous Data Protection® (CDP) to their services. The R1HPP offers exclusive licensing discounts and will facilitate a smoother transition as they introduce the new backup software by supplying the necessary marketing materials needed to inform current users about the benefits of CDP backups.

R1Soft CDP is a disk-based data protection solution for Windows and Linux capable of providing near-continuous backups through efficient synchronizations that use minimal server resources, maintaining high performance.  With the addition of R1Soft CDP, Helix Development increases the trust of its clients and overall value of their services by offering four full backups per day to all shared, managed dedicated and VPS clients as a free value-added service. Backups will also be offered as an add-on for unmanaged dedicated customers.
