Panopta Announces Monitoring Partnership Programs

02:54:29 - 09 September 2008

Allows web hosts and other service providers to improve customer satisfaction by reselling Panopta's advanced server monitoring and outage management service.

Panopta today announced the public launch of three different partnership programs, with the goal of providing an easy-to-integrate monitoring service to a wide range of service providers. Panopta’s advanced server monitoring and outage management service allows system administrators, IT managers and others responsible for managing an online presence to get informed immediately about any service disruptions and provides tools to help teams resolve problems faster.  Given the growing reliance on hosted servers and complex Software as a Service (SaaS) deployments, adding monitoring to a service providers product lineup allows them to provide better, more complete service to their customers while at the same time increasing per-customer revenue.

With the wide range of target markets and business needs across the service provider industry, the programs have been designed to offer a range of complexity and customization options in order to provide the best fit to a specific partner's needs, and can launch in as little as 24 hours. The programs include:

  • Customer Referral Program: The easiest option to setup and the quickest to launch. Partners send prospective customers to Panopta in exchange for a portion of the revenue that these customers generate. No ongoing effort neededon partner's part beyond marketing.

  • Co-branded Partnership: Customers see the standard Panopta interfaces with the addition of the partner's branding information and custom packaging options. Partners have minimal setup and ongoing operations responsibilities while earning a percentage of the revenue their customers generate.

  • White Label Partnership:   The most advanced model, Panopta’s entire infrastructure is branded and integrated with the partner's existing offerings. Provides full flexibility in terms of how to package, price and present the monitoring service.

Both the co-branded and white label partnership programs offer full access to the Panopta Partner API, which provides support for automatic customer account creation, suspension and deletion, monitoring configuration and single sign-on integration to existing control panels, which allows partners to embed monitoring functionality into existing web interfaces.  To further simplify setup for partners, drop-in integration support for a number of popular hosting-related billing systems is also available.

"The feedback we have been receiving from our initial parters in the hosting industry have been very positive," said Jason Abate, founder and CEO of Panopta.  "We've designed our monitoring infrastructure from the ground up to handle the complex needs of web hosts and other service providers, and are quite excited to launch these programs  and increase the ranks of our service provider partners."

The partnership programs are designed to be easy to deploy and launch, with no infrastructure or capital expenditure needed on the partners end.  Partners have access to Panopta's growing global network of monitoring locations as well as central outage management and alerting infrastructure.   All of the partnership programs are available immediately, with more details available at http://www.panopta.com/partner-programs.  For additional information about any of the programs, call +1-312-380-5789 or email partnersales@panopta.com.
