The Planet Unveils Server Discounts Up to 57 Percent

HOUSTON, Aug. 11, 2008 – The Planet, the global leader in IT hosting, today announced discounts on servers optimized for customers who require technology test beds for evaluating new applications. For a limited time, select Dual Xeon and Pentium servers are priced from $70 per month and up, with discounts of up to 57 percent.

Beginning today, the Dual Xeon 3.2 SCSI and SATA are priced at $149 per month, down from $299. The Pentium4 2.4 is now $79 per month, originally $109. Customers who purchase two or more of these servers with a single order get the second Dual Xeon 3.2 SCSI or SATA discounted 57 percent, a savings of $170 per month. The second Pentium4 2.4 is priced at $70 per month, a 36 percent savings.
