CM4all to unveil major product enhancements in Chicago at HostingCon 2008

05:35:53 - 07 July 2008

CM4all schedules the release of new features and upgrades for the Consumer and Business Edition of its industry-leading CM4all WebsiteCreator.

Cologne, Germany; Boston, USA – July 07, 2008

CM4all, a leading developer of web-based applications, has today announced that it will unveil new releases of the CM4all WebsiteCreator Consumer and Business Editions at HostingCon 2008 in Chicago. The software will be available to web hosting companies, MSOs, ISPs, and telcos for licensing, customization and installation this fall.

The new release of the CM4all WebsiteCreator Business Edition allows enterprises to operate multiple sales and marketing outlets by integrating Amazon® aStores as well as eBay® Stores, RSS Feeds and Podcasts into the page styles. It also empowers customers to embed external information via the integration of a custom i-frame application. A revised context-sensitive help system further improves the usability of the software.

Other highlights of the improved Business and Consumer Editions are new and enhanced template designs. The new templates include more business and consumer topics, larger logos and more expansive photo areas. For greater customization and better Search Engine Optimization, templates are available with photo backgrounds and with non-rendered text navigation (CSS style) to fully utilize the page’s keywords.

The Consumer Edition of the CM4all WebsiteCreator also received social networking enhancements including tagging functionality with a proprietary tag cloud in the Community Media Album and Multi-Author Blog. The event planning tool has been enhanced and simplified to offer both private and public RSVP styles. In this way, website visitors can directly send invitation requests to the event organizer by using the event planning feature on the published website, while still keeping control in the hands of the website owner. The convenience and usability of the Getting Started Wizard has been integrated directly into the WebsiteCreator leading to a streamlined and faster process of creating pages.

"As the Internet continues to advance at rapid speeds, we are proud that our suite of WebsiteCreator products leads the way in terms of operation and output as well as setting the direction that value added features and enhancements need to follow for maximum profitability," said Robert Schovenberg, CEO of CM4all. "This allows our partners and their customers to fully take advantage of the latest and most scalable technology currently available in the industry."

"We aim to make the new features we launch available in today’s current formats such as HTML, .mobi and W3C Accessibility," added Cornel Schnietz, CTO of CM4all. "CM4all Technology is based on XML and XSLT for data and template description so we can serve multiple output format websites from a single software source. We therefore anticipate a very good response from our worldwide partners when we deploy the latest generation of enhancements."

CM4all will be showcasing all of their latest product offerings at booth #517 at HostingCon 2008. The convention will take place on July 28 – 30, 2008 at the historic Navy Pier in Chicago. Appointments with a CM4all sales representative during the convention can be scheduled at www.cm4all.com.
