The popular Double Down Select returns today, in which customers can choose to double RAM, hard disk space or bandwidth for no additional cost on select servers. Current servers available for upgrades are the powerful Celeron 2.0+ and Xeon 3210-SAS. Applicable servers will change weekly.

Discounted firewall upgrades also begin today. The Checkpoint X16, formerly priced at $89 per month, is now available for $69, a 22 percent savings.  The Checkpoint XU is now available for $139 per month – reduced from $189 – a savings of 26 percent.

For existing customers, The Planet is now offering 50 percent off RAM, hard disk or bandwidth upgrades.
