The Planet Hosts Forum on IT Compliance and Risk Management

HOUSTON, May 13, 2008 – The Planet, the world’s largest privately held dedicated hosting company, today announced that it will host the Houston Techxans quarterly CIO speakers forum at its world headquarters in Houston. Scheduled for May 15, 2008, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., the event – titled “IT Compliance and Risk Management: Bridging the Gap on Governance, Risk and Compliance” – features leaders who will provide advice and counsel from their own experiences in developing compliance frameworks for their organizations.

The event’s featured speakers are Craig Mullins, corporate technologist for Neon Enterprise Software, and Nick Ignatiev, systems engineer for Alert Logic. A panel presentation on CIO strategies for IT compliance will follow, with panelists from IBM, BJ Services, Access Sciences and Texas Children’s Hospital.
