03:49:53 - 19 October 2007

Industry Professionals Gather to Discuss Healthcare Trends

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (October 16, 2007) - Peak 10, the leading independent data center operator and managed services provider, is pleased to announce that its Louisville vice president and general manager, Greg Aaron, moderated the IT: Transforming Healthcare Delivery event presented by the Health Enterprises Network, an affiliate of Greater Louisville Inc. The event was held today from 7:30 a.m. until 9:15 a.m. at the Louisville Marriott Downtown.

The IT: Transforming Healthcare Delivery event drew an audience of roughly 250 healthcare professionals and will showcase current and future healthcare trends and their impact on the industry. Several panelists were present to discuss revolutionary information technology and how it is impacting Louisville’s healthcare community. The panel includes: Trudi Matthews, senior policy advisor for the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services; Bill Van Hout, healthcare national practice manager for Quilogy; and the highly renowned healthcare expert, Bill Crounse, MD, worldwide health director for Microsoft Corporation.

“It’s an honor to have been chosen to moderate an event where such prominent thought leaders, such Dr. Crounse, are offering information and perspectives on innovative trends in the healthcare industry.  Just last month Peak 10 participated in an event where Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple, spoke and we feel it’s a privilege to be part of events that draw such high-quality business leaders to our area,” said Aaron.  “New healthcare trends and cutting-edge technologies are essential to consider if Louisville’s vibrant healthcare community plans to continue evolving with the industry.  Peak 10 provides unparalleled services to area healthcare companies, and therefore supports these informative events which reinforce the industry’s presence and growth in our region.”
