TRUSTe Awards Coveted Web Privacy Seal to Uplinkearth

SOMERSET, New Jersey — Uplinkearth (http://www.uplinkearth.com), an award winning Web hosting and Internet solutions provider for small to medium sized businesses, announced today it has been awarded the TRUSTe Web Privacy Seal after meeting rigorous privacy policy requirements. TRUSTe is a nonprofit organization enabling trust based on privacy for personal information on the internet.

Uplinkearth must also utilize Secured Socket Layer (SSL) technology that encrypts pages collecting sensitive information, such as credit card numbers. There are also a set of requirements Uplinkearth’s privacy policy must meet pertaining to personally identifiable information collected by the company.
